The horse and groom is has a fantastic sound system with multiple bass bins and top speakers so that all private parties or the weekend clubnight customers get perfect quality sound. It may seem a standard thing that a bar or nightclub has but believe us there are so many London bars and nightclubs that do not have an adequate sound system. The amount of times we have called a venue asking the manager about deck set ups and sound systems and that palm us off thinking that the we don’t know about we’re talking about and then our DJs turn up and the sound on their part is rubbish.
If we know in advance if an additional active sound speakers are needed, then the parties would have much better audio experience instead of low volumes, limiters, cut outs and distorting sound. Anyhow we digress, back to the Horse and Groom set up: they have a fully fuctional DJ set up. All channels and effects are working properly which is still another factor to remember if any London DJs are wondering if they are going to play there. All CDJs and turntables are working properly which DJ SR obviously chose the turntables with Serato.
If anyone is to hold a private party and event or promotional night at the Horse and Groom, do not worry about the sound in the upstairs bar room.
The drinks at the Horse and Groom are well priced so big rounds won’t break the bank. All the managers and staff are very helpful aswell as friendly. It is an ideal place for a private party or a night out especially Saturday nights close at 5am. Music policy varies in different rooms so best to check out which DJs are playing on what night. We do not supply the guest list for this venue but they do allow walk-ins (management have the right to refuse entry).
